Some years ago I officially went insane and decided to rewrite L. Frank Baum’s first Oz novel (which, like the first 14 books, is public domain), The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, taking Dorothy Gale out and putting my own superhero character, Fleischer, in. A draft of the novel is finished and being revised, and myself and artist Matias Festa are working on a comic strip version, the first installment of which is here.
